On A Personal Note

From 9:00-17:00 State Of Mind To Creator One

A few years ago I began a self discovery journey. I find it challenging, rewarding and inspiring. I wasn’t sure where exactly I was heading, but I felt the need to stop and reflect on my life.

Reflection

I Intuitively felt that life as I know it has come to an end. It was as if I was standing on a river bank, watching the water flow, knowing that there is another bank from which I can capture a similar frame, yet with a more suitable filter. I called for a raft.

Three forces shape my journey: my brain, my intuition and my heart. Deep inside, the former knew that he needs to pass the baton to its peers. However habits and fears were holding it from doing the right thing.

Nevertheless, over time water wears away rocks, and the hand off was finally completed.

When I left “home”, I was holding a 9:00-17:00 state of mind. It is based on the western dominant linear thinking which is clear, defined and goal-focused. A thinking style which has repeatedly lead me to familiar and "safe" destinations in my life. I was drawn to this (false) feeling of control; without noticing I was living the results of other people's thinking patterns and detached from mine.

Slowly but surely, the creator in me got the courage to speak up. His language is nonlinear, process-oriented, often chaotic, yet self organized.

Linear Thinking

It is the language of my nature, and not surprisingly also the language of mother nature. The former doesn't always sync with the latter. However, when they mingle, beautiful things such as this project are born.

I'm still walking and the destination has never been more blurred. However, I've learned to trust my intuition and let my heart guide me through. After all, thanks to them I've met a beautiful partner along the way - I met the artist in me.

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”
